From February 27th to March 7th, 2023, the annual Fashion Week Fall/Winter Womenswear took place in Paris. And I was there again and worked backstage at many shows - and give you an exclusive insight into the exciting world of Parisian fashion.
I feel at home at Paris Fashion Week. For over 15 years I've been part of one of the best teams in the world led by makeup industry icon Diane Kendal. This is where the best make-up artists from all over the world meet to create the trend looks for the designers together. In exchange with my colleagues, I can try out new products here and keep discovering unseen new make-up tools.
The shows take place in impressive buildings and locations, so that the work backstage becomes a unique experience.
It's always the perfect opportunity for me to review my work and get inspired by the international designers and French fashion houses. The positive feedback on my work naturally inspires me in my work as a make-up artist, but also for my brand and the high standard that I set for the quality of my products.
I like to spend the time between the shows in the largest department stores such as Galerie Lafayette and Printemps, to research and shop for all kinds of make-up and beauty innovations there ;-)
In addition to working on the shows, I drive to the countless celebrities and influencers who are in Paris at this time to do their make-up for their red carpet appearances, such as this year Caro Daur for Valentino and Toni Garrn for the front row
Of course, my products are always used, which are an integral part of my make-up case and are absolutely convincing in their performance every time.
